Call Completed

Get notified when a call is completed

The call.completed webhook event is triggered when an AI call or transfer call is completed. This can be used to track call duration, direction, and capture call summaries for reporting and analytics.

For transfer calls, Apten sends this event after the transfer outcome is settled. The optional data.transfer object contains the final result, so integrations do not need to combine multiple transfer webhooks for the final call state.

Fetching full call details

This webhook includes the final transfer outcome when the call involved a transfer. Use GET /calls/{callId} when you also need the full transcript or additional call metadata.

Downloading a recording

Use data.callId with GET /calls/{callId}/recording to request a temporary download URL. A recording may not be ready when this webhook arrives. If the endpoint returns 409 Recording is not ready yet., wait and retry the request.

Download the recording file immediately and store the file in your own system. Do not store or reuse the temporary URL; request a new one if it expires.
